(1) The certified copies of the following public documents certified in accordance with the Act or this Regulation shall be sent to the National Archives for safe keeping of the records after the completion of the following periods:-
(a) Twenty-five years after the Constitution or Act,
(b) Twenty years after the treaty to which Nepal is a party,
(c) rule, ten years after order,
(d) Five years if there are other documents decided by the Government of Nepal to be sent to the National Archives for safekeeping.
(2) Among the public documents received under sub-rule (1), the National Archives shall prepare microfilms of authentic copies of the Constitution, Acts and bilateral treaties with foreign countries and keep such copies and microfilms safe.
